Effective 19 August 2026.
These terms cover Scroll Theory HQ, the publishing tool at hq.scrolltheory.media, operated by Scroll Theory Media in Wooster, Ohio. Using the tool means you accept them.
Scroll Theory HQ is a content calendar. You write posts, attach photos or video, pick a time, and the tool publishes them to the Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts and YouTube channels you have connected. Nothing publishes that a person did not create and schedule.
You need to be at least 18 and you need the authority to publish on behalf of the accounts you connect. Connecting a Page you do not have permission to manage is not allowed.
You keep ownership of everything you put into the tool and everything it publishes for you. You grant us only the access needed to store that content and publish it where you told it to go. If you stop using the tool, what has already been published is still yours and stays on your accounts.
Do not use the tool for anything unlawful, for spam, or for content that breaks Meta's or Google's platform policies. We can suspend access that does.
Publishing depends on Meta and Google. Their APIs, rules and rate limits are theirs to change, and a change on their side can interrupt or block publishing through no fault of either of us. When a post fails, the tool records the reason and shows it in the planner.
The tool is provided as is, without warranty. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and scheduled publishing depends on systems outside our control. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed posts or lost reach. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop at any time by disconnecting your accounts and asking for deletion, as described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, and we will say why.
If these terms change, the effective date changes and material changes are posted here.
